HTS Texas Expands
HTS University: Free HVAC Equipment Training Initiative.
HTS Texas, the Texas partner of the largest independent commercial
HVAC manufacturers' representative in North America, announced that
the company is expanding its training program, HTS University, with
the addition of a new regional training instructor and diversified
course offering. HTS University will provide free training sessions
on a wide range of HVAC equipment to industry professionals and end
users throughout Texas.
As the regional training instructor for HTS Texas, James Adkinson
will take on the role of providing relevant training with hands-on
demonstrations to building owners, maintenance teams, contractors,
and end users. Adkinson possesses strong industry expertise, with
more than 23 years of experience working at Daikin Applied. His
extensive knowledge of air handlers, packaged rooftop systems, air
cooled and screw chillers, water-cooled chillers and magnetic
bearing centrifugal chillers will allow him to provide necessary
training and information to ensure attendees can confidently operate
their systems.
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to pass on my HVAC knowledge to
others in the industry,” Adkinson said. “Everyone who works with
these systems should have the ability to understand and operate them
independently, and resolve issues without the need for outsourced
help. I hope I can deliver that power to the individuals I train.”
